Alan Northcott emigrated to the USA from England in 1992. He was educated at Eltham College and the University of Surrey, both in England. His engineering career spanned more than 30 years, on both sides of the Atlantic. He has actively pursued his second career of writing since the mid-00s.
Northcott is a successful financial author, freelance writer, trading educator, and professional engineer. He and his wife now live in Missouri, and have also lived in Arizona, Colorado, and Florida. They have three children living on two different continents, and two grandchildren.
